after another lister d and stuart pump build date ....

ok then i have some how managed to buy another lister d with a stuart pump.
lister d :
engine no. 113522
spec. 13d2
hp. 2

stuart pump:
pump no. 8424
pump type. A4E14

any help would be great.

Is the Lister a shaft driven type or normal chain magged?

Also is the S/N 113522 or 1/13522?

Anyway if its the first serial number its around 1934

Sorry ive just seen your video!!

Its a early type of Lister D its around 1934 then the first spec is 10d and yours is a 13d

Anyway its nice to see a early D with a origanal style mag

thanks. what does the 13d stand for then? did the tank look right as it has a banet type fuel cap over to the right. thanks again.

Well different specs had slightly different parts and looks

Lister D was first introduced in 1928 with a spec 10 and went to a DH17 as they ran out of Spec numbers

Dont quote on me but i think your fuel tank is wrong as the origanal should be just above the magneto

thats what i thought but then saw another one with the tank in the same place as this one but with a fuel filler between the tank straps. so that is 3 versions from the same year !! could it be the 2hp had the tanks up in the later position? at least then its only a choice of 2

Number 113522 with spec 13 is built November 1934.
See the book 'The Lister D story' by David Edgington, and his book 'The history and development of the Lister D type'.
