No course not just get a entry form off and turn up and try some Cyder down the farm.
Well its being going since the 60/70's (i think) so SWSEC got a bit of catching up to do lol. was Started by
Percy Williams (my Granddad), Grevnille Goldworthy, Graham Travaskis and one i never meet, started on the farm you can see on the right while going up the A30 just after the Toyota garage roundabout before indian queens. was raining at some rally near there so the sheltered in a pig shed on a wall with the pigs bellow them. think they paid a pound for the year lol, History hay!

Though you may have seen Him and Grenville at SWSEC rally 2006/2006 maybe 2007 Grenville used to pick him up and take him, we know The Barberys (sorry if spellings wrong) from years back. Well wouldnt know if there still about or not.

I remember your grandad very well, most helpful gent. The 'unknown' chap in the picture is certainly a face I recognise, but just can't remember his name.
I understand Grenville had a stroke perhaps 18/24 months ago, don't think he made any shows last year - but he did make a few this year with help from Mike Edwards amongst others.
The Barbery's are still active around the scene, Edwin often visiting and his son exhibiting.

Did Grenville have the Iron Chorehorse engine like my Cooper with a centrifugal pump at Perrenwell this year?
