hmmm, the flywheel case looks massive compared to an SR engine, it could be a H series, how tall is is, sump to rocker case?

Hi paul thanks for looking ill measure tomorrow its a bit dark out there now, is the flywheel not that big because of the genny its running, just an idea i know nothing about these engines i guessed it was an sr2 as that was all i could find that looked the same and i downloaded an instruction manual for an sr2 and all looked the same internally as well, where should i measure to from etc,
cheers ian

Ian,

measure the bottom of the sump, to the top of the rocker cover, Sr's are the same height as the LR1's, the HA is much taller, but looks similar. oh and measure the flywheel diameter

looking on zoom at the second picture down, theres a casting number above the fuel pump cover, i think the centre number includes HA.
