wolseley problems,
i have a friend that has a WD2 he use to slow crank it and use to tick over fine, now he has to crank it really fast with the choke off to start it , any ideas why?
Re: wolseley problems,
Sounds like the impulse in the magneto has stuck
A swill with parafin but try to avoid getting it inside the electrics usually frees the spring off

thank god for steve lol
the impulse is missing a few ticks, so what do i need to do mate, lol its a wico mag
Re: wolseley problems,
Take the mag of the engine and hold it upside down
Drip parafin ( It will dissolve old sticky oil) under the wheel at the back and around the impulse pin keep turning the mag both ways and then that should free it off .
let it dry before putting it back on
