it starts first time and runs all day without missing a beat. it runs well with or without load, and is quite good with the petrol.

Hi folks.

I really hope that my first restoration, Bertha ends up looking even close to this creature of beauty.

A fantastic piece of preservation and restoration.

I am sure with you guys assisting me on here, that I can acheive something worthwhile.

Thanks for the pics.

Hi Clark,

Just take your time, its a few monthes until the start of the next rally season. Its not worth rushing the restoration just for one silly mistake to hash the whole job up.

Im a petter man my self so if i can help il try and point you in the right direction.

Look forward to seeing your finished engine.

Good luck,
Paul

Oh my goodness, I can go on a bit!!!!!!!!

Post  Clark Mills on Wed Sep 15, 2010 10:23 pm

Hi all,

I think my over-ethusiasm might just be the excitement at the challenge and the dreams of what I want her to look like.

God, I sound like a big kid at christmas. LOL

I will have to learn a little more patience. Earl, Paul, Mike, wise words about not rushing it and dropping a clanger. Smile

I am hoping to be able to pick up an engine for spares soon courtesy of another good member, Thanks Lewis, so I think she might be running soon. Smile

Anyway, thanks again, I will learn Very Happy

Clark.

cheers study

No probs Clark.

Weve all had the urge to bash on and get the job done only to have to start again.
Were only passing on our experiance.
