This is my Amanco Choir Boy 2 1/4 hp it is a Hit and miss engine. Built in 1911
I imported it in 2008 from the USA.
It had spent its working life on a farm.in Chapel Hill North Carolina USA.
When I got it , it was seized solid but a week later I had it running.
From the photos I was given this is how it was delivered its on the oridgenal wheels , I had to change the wood it was full of wood worm.
I came to get the engine when I telephoned a good mate in The USA and I told him I was after a John Deere and a Amanco. He told me he Had both Engines and I had 60 mins to make my mind up becouse they were filling a container up with Engines and Tractors Going into a place called Southampton.
Then I told him I had moved to Dorset and this was about 30 minites away, deal struk and here it is fully restored and running like a clock
