My First Engine

hi all

names Ozzie (aka Steve) from Leicester
been going to to steam rallies for a few years now, and have always been more interested in the stationary engines that ive seen there...

ive just brought my first engine today, so hopefully can learn a few things from members here.

Hopefully somebody can tell me something about my engine, age etc.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum, your Lister D was built between July and December 1948, probably about September by the serial No.
Anything else you want to know just ask and somebody is sure to give you an answer.
