a winter project....

Post  mike d on Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:14 am

i bought this engine from a feller back on the 7 September this year and i forgot all about it.i had it collected on Wednesday 2nd November (PM) and it arrived here one the 3rd of November (AM).that's a 48pallet service from national pallets (ive posted the link in the transport section for you all to see).finally got round to taking it off the pallet on Sunday (6th Nov) thanks to my son for that.
i did take 4 photos but 3 has disappeared, its a 3hp international m P/P all complete and came with a new hard wood trolley as well,it needs the mag putting on it and timing up some fuel and away it goes...
theres been one on eBay in wiltshire for £450 and hasn't had one bid,and it has some bits missing,so that makes mine a very cheap engine.

regards,mike...

Nice looking engine Mike what are your plans? Strip and repaint or just a wipe with an oily rag.

Mike it would be around the £1500 in first class order. If I got that it would be the last engine I ever bought apart from the odd small BSA or Jap to mess about with. So I'm not in any great hurry as yet to get it.
