Hope your happy with it Neville and it's just a matter of time before you get used to driving it. Has it got 4 wheel drive?
It's years since I owned anything small, I can't get out of them Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hope it gives you years of happy motoring,

Stu.

Just a thought Neville with it being ex forestry com. I thought it might have been, and then you'd never get stuck on the damp feilds. My Transit is very light on the rear axle, same as pick-ups are and gets stuck easy so might be worth thinking of adding a couple of bags of sand over the rear axle if you get any snow this winter.

decided i didn't like the yellow stripe on the truck so i took it off, it was plastic tape.
got some work to do repainting the driver side wing as there was a repair under the tape and some paint peeled off with the tape.
got the paint code from the forestry commission and the paint is on order.

i think it looks better without the stripe

needs a clean and t cut now and should look a lot better.

stops those big hairy lumberjack types waving to me as well Laughing

Neville I know your not happy with it's fuel consumption, try some fuel additives, I did it with my old Citroen van and managed to get another 3 miles to the gallon, it doesn't sound a lot but it's a good saving over 12 months. I started up with the Red X injector cleaner and it worked well then someone told me to try a can or Forte, it's expensive but works very well.

I liked the yellow stripe! Made it look like a... er.... well... a forestry commission truck. Embarassed
My Hyundai Tucson is thirsty as well, because it's an auto. I've had it mapped and added fuel cleaner. I would also recommend "Greased Lightning" engine treatment. It's american and available on the TV shopping programmes. I used to sell it (before the importer got greedy and fleeced me on the franchise) and it does work well even if I don't like the bloke who sells it. Mad
I'm getting about 30mpg now (diesel which is about five up on what it was doing.
