Is the engine about the same size as a mk5 J.A.P engine?

it is slightly bigger than a jap 5 and heavier.

the engine is now running with a home made linkage to the carb. if anyone else has a complete c6 i would be grateful if they would contact me so i can find out the exact dimensions and shape of the missing piece.
