Lister D project next

Post  stationary stu on Thu Sep 10, 2009 6:07 pm

This is what I've decided to start on next, a 1942 Lister D. The mag had no spark so I found a mag on another engine I had that once cleaned up had a good spark. Just need to put some spacers in to tighten up the chain and see about the carb. Once I get it running I'll strip it ready for painting.

Stu.

Thanks for all your help guys. I have 4 fullish engines and most of the parts to make another 2. It's things like mags I'm short of. My idea is to get 1 up to show condition for myself then slowly do the others and sell them, once I find I don't have enough parts to make full engines I'll sell off the parts thats left. It's my way to make money to buy something else. I may take you up on the offer of a new pipe as mine are all kinked or bent badly. Anything I do need I'll post in the wanted section.

Thanks again for your offers,

Stu.
