Thanks for your welcome - I am really a steam man now, my collection of stationary engines - some 8 in no. from 1916 to the 40's has been reduced to 3 that are to be auctioned @ Dingles Steam Village in Oct. I have a 16 ft. steam launch and am building a 2" Traction engine but I still keep an eye open down here in Cornwall for old engines ----
Regards, David.

Hi David, and wekcome to the forum. I think we all have the dream to have something steam but prices are very expensive to buy and if you don't have a reasonable engineering background and a shed full of equipment only stay a dream.
It would be great if you could post some pics of your engines and your steam collection as we are all interested and would love to see them.

Stu.
