V belts measurment
Can anyone give me advice on how to measure a v belt, as stupid as its sounds, i need to find one about an inch bigger than the one i have on my wolseley, the one i have is just to tight. Do i measure the inside, outside or corner to corner when pulled apart
Re: V belts measurment
Hi Ryan,
I would take the old belt down to the shop and just lay the old next to the new and get the size that way, saves a lot of hassle.

And thats Chris's excuse when his wife caught him wearing stockings ( it's just a spare fan belt my love) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . Ryan a few years back you could get a fan belt spare kit. It was a length of round elastic like a bungie and a tube of super glue to join it. Try at work they might have some old truck belts about thats not used any more and they should be a good length.
