hello there welcome to the forum Smile

i am also a bamford owner but i have a EG1 that i am currently restoring as we speak . If you look in restoration section you can see the progress . Nice solid engines they are .

what do you need to know about the fuel tank ? where to get a new one from or does yours need to be patched up ?

regards , matt

ps .. regarding the running fast that can be adjusted on the carb with the throttle stop on the butterfly ... im assuming yours has a solex carb ?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Very Happy

Don't be shy we love to have new members that like to get involved and just add anything you need help with.

Were a friendly crowd in here and try to help anyone if we can, best if you put any questions in the engine section as more members read that rather then in this (welcome) section.

If you want, you can post some pics up of the engine and also the carb and I'm sure someone will tell you how to do the adjustments to get it running sweet.

Where are you located? and are you going to show your engine at local shows? Just curious as there might be someone on here local to help you along.

Stu.

Sorry forgot to add there's someone that makes replica tanks but I don't know his details just he trades under the name of Frank's tanks, I'm sure someone on here will be able to supply you with his details, I can tell you that they don't come cheap Crying or Very sad or you maybe lucky and someone might have one or can point you in the right direction to get one, try an add in the Wanted section of the forum. I don't think you'll get one off ebay but maybe a post in the Wanted section of the Stationary Engine magazine might help.

Good luck in your search,

Stu.
