Hi all and thanks for the welcome. Now starting out on my ambition of owning and restoring vintage engines. Have a Lister D and a Wolseley WD8 and recently purchased a Lee Howl pump and an Argosy pump to go with them when they are finally restored. Just finished making the handles for the trolley today. Dream engine ? Has to be a Lister A for me. I find them almost hypnotic to watch and listen to.

Good engines to start with, easy to repair so you should enjoy playing with them. The problem is when the bug bites and you can''t stop at just a couple of engines. Laughing Laughing Laughing
If you check the video section I think you should find a Lister A and a few others running so that should keep you happy for a few minutes, myself I enjoy a hit and miss engine running, you think it's going to stop then bang she's away again. Very Happy

Hi Mike
thanks for welcome.
Just saw your ad for the 4 Lister D's for sale.
Hoping the handles I made for mine look the part as they did on the repro trolley in your ad.
I followed the original drawings as far as I could. Took me two days on and off and the curve
wasn't easy to get right. Ended up using an 11'' pipe flange as the former.
regards
Dave
