engine identifictation

thanks for the warm welcome.

i am totally new to the engine world.

i have bought a non-running petter A and now i am trying to get some info on it. it has a serial number of 536615. can you help with identification and where i can get some manuals.

Hi John,

PM me your address and i will sort you out with a manual. Ive got another member to sort out as well so will cover both of you at the weekend.

Your engine is dated between 1947 - 48, but if you drop a snail mail to the guy below he can tell you the exact date of birth and who it was supplied to. You need to send a sae as he does a lot of dating of engines.

the feller Paul is talking about is a very nice feller john,
good luck with you engine,you do realize that stationary engines are very addictive..
you start with one and before you know it you have 4 or 5 of them..LOL...LOL....
