Re: another engine ariving soon :)
it will fit even if it has to go through the house lol , and i have found out it was origionaly sold to Frank Lane & Co., Faringdon in 1943 which is where i live so will be coming back to its home town after 30 years , my plan is just to stip it down 1st and start cleaning and working my way around and rebuilding the internals as i go ....Whats peoples opinions on the best way to undersize it ? i was going to just use alot of diesel ...
Oh and im after a lucus rs1 mag if anyone has one ?

Red diesel the best to un-seize then maybe WD40 (buy it by ther gallon a lot cheaper then the small cans, bout £25) there's always plenty of mags for sale on fleabay or ask you uncle Mike to look at GDSF i'm sure he'll find you one at a good price. Frank's tanks the best place for a new tank, they don't often come up for sale on fleabay so that might be the best bet then you know it will be a good un even tho not original. It's going to cost you big time to get the wife out the house while you bring the engine down the hall
Good luck with it Matt,
Stu
