Great job Mart, looks well on the field you must have been proud of your set up after all the time and hard work you put into it.
Enjoy your break, lets see how long before you start your next project Question Question

Yep, I was really pleased with how they both ran.

I just need to et a smaller pulley for the other side of the engine. had to let the belt slip because it was pumping water like hell other wise.

Very pleased. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Cheers

Mart.

If you ran it with a flat belt wouldn't that be enough to slow it down or does it need more then that?

I didnt hear of one for the stationary engines this year, although there did seem to be for other classes.

I did win it here 3 years ago for my lister D.

We dont get many rallies with prizes down here.

Cheers

Mart.

Thats one big pulley wheel on the engine Stu, its just too big and makes the pump go like the clappers!!

I see stationary engine parts sell smaller ones that I could put on the starting handle side and still be able to crank it over. they do them for about £20.00 - £30.00.

Might just try that and see if it helps.

Cheers

Mart.
