this is my next project it is a JAP 2A R
BOUGHT IT seized up
it was just on the bore lightly rusted the piston to the bore
stripped it and cleaned internaly removed valves and piston deglazed bore and lapped in valves new head gasket ect

next day removed the flywheel and cleaned up the points and the other parts that need to cleaned up
now it has a great spark at the plug
tipped so petrol down the plug hole and gave it a pull and of she went
stripped and cleaned the carb had to make new gaskets as old ones had shrunk
carb was still a no go so went around the rally stalls and found a later 56 carb
fitted it and she now runs of the carb
need to clean cowling get a tank, oil cap ,exhurst and i will either rally it and/or sell it soon
