make a ramp for it..
have it so that it goes over the top of the frame,that way there wont be any damage to the step mate..

might even fir around the side as the rather over engineered trolley i made for the wolselly and h2 fitted around the side , with bags to spare

When I made the trolley for the Lister G1 I had to stop and check there was room to get it out the gate lol!

It has about an inch n a half to spare, phew close call.
