Re: Welcome to the forum Disbos.
Hello and thanks for the welcome. I joined as I have inherited two stationary engines and could do with a bit of hand holding from people who really know. I am now the proud owner of a Lister D, a Norman T300 and a Lister pump. I have had both engines running, the Lister after following some helpful instructions on YOUTUBE and the Norman by experimenting (could someone post the correct Norman starting proceedure on YOUTUBE?)
Some questions if I may.....1. The Lister has a round grease device on the cylinder - how do I fill it up? 2. Can I run these engines on normal unleaded petrol? 3. The top of the Lister carb rotates, following the instructions I rotated anti clockwise and the engine starts and runs however if I then center the circular carb top the engine stops, should I just leave it at the starting setting?
Many thanks - David

Re: Welcome to the forum Disbos.
Hi David, if you could ask your questions in the Stationary Engine General Issues part of the forum you stand a better chance of getting a reply to your questions. Maybe best to list under two seperate headings.
