Does the Traction Engines still get a payment for running there engines at shows?

Ive always thought that a tad bit unfair, as a stationary engine is just as much a part of our heritage as a traction engine.

Just my thoughts.

Yes Paul they do and get free coal. I totally agree it's a hobby and we all have to pay to first buy the engine then transport it about.

These "rules" only apply to a NTET rally, all other rally's and shows are free to make there own rules up

Thanks Neville all sorted now, it's a new lap top and at the time I was still downloading and updating files to get it running.
