Calling all Wolesley experts.
I decided it's about time to get my WD8 sorted as I'm waiting for parts for everything else.
I wasn't going to pull the whole engine apart as the last owner said it was a good runner the last time he had it running (about 5 years ago)
Well when I lifted it up on to the bench I've noticed it has some side movement on the crank, (about 30 thou) question now is this normal? or am I looking at a full strip down. Can you tell me is it just new crank thrust washers that's needed and are they easy to obtain and where from? Or do I leave well alone and see how it runs, after I've decoked it.
The only problem I could find for it not running was a very rusty fuel tank and a lot of crap in the carb. I did put a bit of petrol into it and it fired no problem.
Thanks in advance,
Stu.

Bit of end float, I wouldn't worry about that myself.
