I think I've got another carb that will fit along the lock up so I might go get that and see if it runs with that carb. It's just strange one day it ran perfect then the next day problems, nothing in the middle Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Cheers Kev, I have bought a book with an exploded view of the carb as I think that's where the problem is but I will bear you in mind about the other parts as I have a few small engines now and they all need sorted, just can't seem to get the time at the minute.

Thanks for that Kev, it's been put down the queue of things to do as I must get the Wolseley finished and I need to sort out a pump for my next rally.

Thanks Kev, I'm going to have a look at the WD11 I've just got to see what's missing from that and see what needs replacing, so I get back to you on that it might be easier to borrow one to save stripping the WD8 as I've just finishing off painting it. What might be the best way to do it is sort of hire it where as I send you some money until it's returned then if anything happens you won't be out of pocket. I think it's just the mag etc I need as Bill has a valve cover plate but need to have a good look as it's still in the van as the weather hasn't been to good and I've had a few other things to do.

Well managed to get a tank yesterday so need the brackets now. I'll put a quick wanted up if no use I'll try a local blacksmith to make a set.
