lister h2 gland packing ?

where would i obtain some gland packing for my h2 pump from and what size ? have found places but are quite expensive .

Sometimes you just have to pay up Matt, that's the problem with this hobby you can get the big lumps at good prices but to repair them costs the money. If you think about things that break at home and you check prices to repair it, costs to much so it goes in the shed and you buy a new one, well farmers etc have done the same with old pumps and engines for years, then companies tag on to the get rich as there's not many parts about now.
So Matt dig deep and look forward to the hours of pleasure it will bring.

i have tried them but been thinking what does they call gland packing and also what is the correct size .... ? i have got some but not enough to make 6 rings out off .

Hi Matt, I have never had a H2 but I have had H1s,H3s and a H7. Packing size I would think will be 1/4".
