Cheffins Buys

Post  Hughesy on Fri Apr 22, 2011 9:57 pm

Hello All
I went to Cheffins Collective Sale last weekend and bought a couple of D's and a BSA 420cc along with 2 boxes of Jap 2A bits.

Early lister D 17D

Later Lister D 40's

BSA 420

One box of bits

Mr Skankin Giant im glad you didnt have a day off work as the said stover wasnt a stover it was a sattley which was seized solid and was very rusty but did have a mag and made £540

Should have gone more on the little fuller and johnson as i pulled out at £360 and it only made £400. that was one thing i should have kept going for.

other than that it was a great day out.

No a bad price for the fullers, what did the sattley look like, there was a sezied one with disc flywheels for sale for just under £500 was tempted but left it! did you buy the sattley?

Looks like a nice haul, I do like the BSA's

Cheers Steve

Lewis is there not enough bits to build a Jap up. They do bring good money once painted up.
