it's alive
the lister abl is now a runner, i took a gamble on a box of mag parts on ebay, cases, coils, points etc and the first coil i checked was a good one put it straight in and it started second pull. it runs quiet for a small engine.

thanks earl.
Hi Earl
Dont suppose you ever run your Enfield, thinking about getting one off of a friend which dosn’t have the exhaust or ignition system, just the points, so would need to set up battery coil ignition, didnt know if you had it running? would like to know if they are a absolute pig or not.

enfield
hello,
i never did get it to run, although i never tried it on a battery and coil. the engine went to a friend of mine in cumbria who has now sold it on.
thanks richard.
