been a busy bee all day ...

Post  matt86 on Sat Apr 16, 2011 9:24 pm

Right ive decided to strap the WD2 with the H2 pump so gathered together all the steel that i need and got the welder and grinder out .

this is what ive done the length is 4 foot long and around 3 foot wide . Its steerable too , and the pump is on a sub frame set up , just got to get some threaded bar and make the tensioner / adjuster , and make the handle now ..... been through sh**t loads of cutting discs though

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

here is a few pictures of my work ... oh i found out a new set of drill bits was the best idea otherwise the holes would of taken really long to drill through some of the plate is 3/8 thick

What do you guys think so far ... ? i know today has been a long day for me cutting and welding Laughing Laughing Laughing

Looking good! I love WD's had one for about 6 years was lovely.

I think the base would look grand black, but then again, I think WD2+8's should be green and WD1's grey Very Happy, though your's looks grand in grey with the red bits.

Cheers Steve

Matt I've painted my new trolley black and I think it looks smart and doesn't distract anyone looking at the engine. Thinking about putting some green coach lines on the wheels tho Laughing Laughing Laughing
