vehicle insurance

Post  Paul_sterling on Mon Jan 17, 2011 9:01 pm

I know we often discuss about the stationary engine insurance, and indeed tractor insurance for both personal use and rally use, but i thought i'd take a moment to recomend an insurer for the vehicle you pull your engines behind.

in the last could of years the best two i've found for good service and copmpetitive quotes is swift cover, and adrain flux, the former for regular car insurance, and the latter for specialist vehicles such as 4x4, sports cars and imports.

my C2 vts is insured with swift, and its £500 pa fully comp, some £150 less than all other competitors, and my disco(s) are insured with afl, which quoted £750 per year, for a 24 year old on a group 14E car! superb value!!

for my tractors i use walker midgley for the vintage machines, and nfu mutual for the nasher

Cheers.

Paul
