Alco/P3 valve timing?

Hi, All,
Can anyone please give me an idea of how to set the valve timing on my Alco Featherwieght?
The camshaft gear ha an "O" stamped on one tooth but I can't see a corresponding mark on the crankshaft gear. The valve opening positions woud be helpful or the settings for the P3 (I guess they are the same?)
