Lister D date & info please?

The information on the spec plate is 1.5hp, 700rpm, 1/77396 28d t

Anyone know what year this is? I tried to work it out not sure if i got it right as 1942?

What does 28 dt mean?

Hi there, your Lister ser No 1/77396 in my book reads as between Jan & June 1951. The "t" in the Spec No means that it was probably
supplied as "tank cooled" when new.
