MY SONS WD1....

hi all
here's the wolseley i bought for my son....
once i get all the bits,it will be stripped...
its seized solid at mo,the man that i got it from had it for 15 years..
I've got my work cut out with this one...

The WD1's a nice looking engine, I had a WD2, similar state, well mine was in bits.

I quite like the look of the WD1's now used to prefer the WD2's

Got you hands full there! havnt had one like that for a while!

its unseized now....
got the tank+straps
just got to collect the other bits and it should be up and running...

i love doing them when there in this state...

you should have seen the state of the Lister A i found 5 years ago,about the same state as the wolseley...

it turned out really nice,its still going to shows as far as i know in wales...

hi martin...

wont take long once I've got the rest of the bits...

only thing that mite hold me up is i mite be moving,to be nearer the mother in law now dads passed away...

apart from that its get the bits then run it up.
if its all OK,strip it down,shot blast it and then lost of paint.
new trolley and transfers ...and of to the show....yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

have had a change of heart.....
ive now striped it bear,got my new valve springs thanks to MR CHRIS JONES....thanks again mate....
now got all the bits to put it back together now....
the trolley that ive sat it on is one i use to move them about on..so will have a new trolley as well..
looking forward to getting it done and on the rally field....

hi all...

finally got all my bits for my sons wolseley WD1....
the last bits finally arrived today so no excuses now...
so looks like i can now get on with it and get it painted and back together...
i do like these little engines....so simple and straight forward...

hold on mate..im a lot slower now a days due to my problem...
you mite have to wait a while for the smoke rings..
i need a large tap to tap a thread in the block for the exhaust,as the one in the engine is very well worn....
im hoping someone has one and it is possible to do,other wise im in the poo...
will have to see what i can do,some one must have one...
