Bamford Oil Problem

Post  Hughesy on Tue Jun 15, 2010 10:15 pm

Hello all

i took my bamford tulip top to a rally saturday. what made me worry is that it didnt throw any oil out from the back of the liner. is this ok or is something wrong. and before someone asks yes the oiler was on and it used a whole oiler full.

the piston is black with oil. i ran the engine 2 weeks ago at another rally and it was fine it couldnt come out the drain fast enough, this weekend nothing though. could it have been burning it off.

nope dont think so its low tension by the way. i have just been told it wouldnt cuse a great deal of smoke at 6 drops a minitue. if it was burning it off.
also the engine was gradually sloped but not alot.
