not always..
A petter AS is the higher powered usually from 3hp to 6hp and has a double the thickness flywheel of a petter A also sometimes has a extended shaft on the starting handle side for another pulley take off...Someone on here has one in a saw bench that dont look ex army..I got a factory water pump set on a cast bed plate in light blue with a petter AS 6hp petrol parrafin engine on it..all matching numbers..
