Engine shaft Guards.
Am just thinking after seeing last weeks Country File on TV.
The one in which they spoke to the young farmer that lost his whole left arm when his coat caught on a pin projecting from a tractor P.T.O. shaft without a guard. Well my Lister CS is installed in a room in a confined space and to walk past the flywheel and projecting shaft is not a good idea. So I decided to make priorority of making a mesh guard over it. Thinking that generally not many stationary engines seem to be fitted with projecting shaft guards and am interested in others thaughts on this?

Re: Engine shaft Guards.
My dad has a lister CS. The reason he got it was if killed the previous owner. He was adjusting something on the engine and has scarf got caught up in the belt and as they say the rest is history.
I would put a guard on it
