Macford vacum pump

Can anyone help me with anything about these pumps ive got my eye on one on e bay

The pump that you are viewing Paul is actually a Broomwade compressor modified by Macford to suck instead of blow! It was quite usual to do this, most of the dairy suppliers used "bought in" pumps as they wouldn't want the hassle of a foundry etc for just the one cast item, and in fact the first item that I sold on ebay was one of these in compressor form.
Anyway if you go for it be prepared and have an extra Shredded Wheat as they weigh about the same as a Lister D. Wink

So basicly all i would need is a tank, safety valve and ive got a compresor,

grand i was after a compresor, ive got a lot of air tools from when i was on the spanners i could make use of them if i got this.
