Martin would they stock rings for a Petter A.
Do they come as a standard ring to fit or do they need to be gapped?
Last thing what kind of price were they for the D, just to give me an idea of prices as I think the rings may need doing on my Petter A but it's way down on the restoration list and if they wern't to expensive I could just get them and put them on the shelf ready, as I have plenty other things to spend my money on

Thanks Stu.

If they do not have them in stock, I believe they will make them for you.

You may need to give as much detail as possible, or send them the piston.

Give them a call and ask to speak to Ian, he is ever so helpfull.

The rings that I purchased I had to gap and very carefully & stessfully fit to the piston. Only cost me about £20 + postage, much cheaper than other places I have seen them for sale.

regards

Martin

Thanks for the offer Mike but I'm just gonna leave it for now as it's way down the list of jobs to do. It's only has a little bit of back pressure on it and the engine's not been run much so maybe I should try running it with a load on it see if it clears it or I may get away with just taking the head off and glaze busting the bore.

Thanks again,

Stu.
