i've recently purchased a 10" double Vee taperlock pulley with the taperlock for a 28mm shaft from these people

http://www.bearingboys.co.uk/

cost aprox £35, half of what anyone else can quote, and i've just looked one up for a friend, 4" pulley, with a 25mm centre taperlock £6.93 for the pulley, £3.85 for the taperlock bush.

they also stock bearings and huge lists of other stuff. v belts. power tools pneumatics, hydraulics etc etc

I found this company on ebay and have used them a few times now, they have a good comprehensive stock and reasonable prices, Delivery normally a day or two if no postal strikes lol.

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/handystraps1/

It's a Plymouth based company so they may have a shop if you live local. Have a look I'm impressed with them, I ordered 2 x 1.5 ton ratchet straps and they send a safety certificate with them. I also now make my own bungee straps to the length I require by ordering ...

I found this site I've never used them, but they do have a handy tool set into the site that will give you the alternative plug. e.g. type in the search 8com comes up £15 but no stock, so click on alternative in stock and it gives a list of others you could use so you could then use a Champion D16 @ £3.50 but who says you have to buy from them? use your own supplier if your happy with them as you have alternative numbers you could give them.
