<description>Had the WX11 out for a run Fairford, it ran very very well! didnt hunt at all just thumped away nicely, will need to hunt down some low smoke 2 stroke oil, the spare engine oil I had at the correct Mixture (56:1) made it look like I was contacting Indians!

<description>This is the Sandwich 1 1/2hp that I have just imported.

The chap I got it from said the last time it ran was 30 years ago it was at the back of his Barn covered in Hay.

I cleaned the cobwebs out of the Mag and cleaned the spark plug. I fitted a new fuel valve cleaned cab needle.

Not a lot of compreshion pulled her over buy hand not a lot happened.

<description>I started to get a Famous Engine out of its packing case today.

It is a 1hp Famous Hit and Miss Open crank , it is in original condition on the trolly it was supplied with.

Its 1911 Put fuel tank back on connected mag wire after about 10 cranks away it went.

Can you imagine modern engines doing this, I have problems getting the Hedge cutters starting after about 8 weeks

I will post some photos of it running tommorow

<description>This was bought for me by my late wife in 2008 in a very poor state

It was partially siezed and in need of new valves It was previously in a fire and unloved .

But after a lot of work and some say a strange choice of colour ( Christines choice ) it has got a new life

There are not many reverse rotation WD8's on the rally scene but this one will go on forever

It is on a four wheel trolley now and has travelled with me to quite a few rally's ...</description>

1942 spec 26 DH

it is not the correct mid brunswick green ( a re paint is planned ) But I can gaurantee that everytime I put the starting handle in , it will start and not miss a beat untill I shut down the carb .

I restored this in 2007 in between nursing my late wife , and I think it was doing this, that kept me sane .

as long as I have an interest in this hobby I will own this D

<description>This is the first time that a Pool engine and rack bench have been run together in preservation. After a lot of trial we got the bench working quite well. On Sunday we cut the Ash shaker bars for my Pool thresher that I should be showing at the Great Dorset.

The engine is mine and the rack bench is Alec Chambers.

This was the first time I've had the engine running at full power!! We had to fix a forklift to the front to keep it from moving together!
