Tulip top petrol bowl
Am i correct in saying that to start a tulip top correctly your spose to poor some fuel into the fuel bowl which also acts as a choke ???? This is what i have been told by someone, just wanted to confirm it

more or less yes. you will also need to open the needled valve adjuster slightly more aswell

its not a case of turns, its a case of a fraction of a turn, if you engine has the origonal srewed needle valve, there should be 2 tapped holes in the round dial face grip. these origionaly had a set screw in. any where between these 2 holes is ok
